📅 How Long Will Crown Jam be Playable?
Fortnite’s new Crown Jam game mode will only be available from January 23rd to February 9th, 2026. This only gives players a little while to get the rewards before they’re gone and actually play. After that, the mode will leave Fortnite with no assurance of when it might return. This isn’t the first time Fortnite has collabed with Fall Guys though, as you can still find some other Islands with Fall Guys content in it. You can find a bunch of new cosmetics and skins easily through accounts. Find fortnite boosting here on U7BUY today!
🎮 How to Play Crown Jam
Most players will be playing the new Crown Jam mode for the chance at the limited rewards, but how do you even play it to begin with? The basics of the game are pretty simple and easy to understand. As mentioned before, it’s basically a mixture between American football and basketball. You’ll be placed in a team of 3 where you need to score a ball into the opponent’s basket. However, there’s a lot of moves to master and obstacles to avoid.
You’ll be shown the controls right when you enter the game depending on what platform you use. The same button that you use to take the ball is the one you use to tackle other players. When looking at the basics, you’re gonna want to have your eyes on the ball at all times. If your teammate has the ball, try to tackle the opposing players to keep their pathway to the goal as clear and safe as possible.
🕹️ Hype Abilities
Where things get intense is when the Hype Abilities come into play. These are extra power ups that are given to every player after a set time. They can also be chosen at the very start of the match. Each ability has their own advantage depending on how well you use it. When playing against it, you’ll need to lead your team to best evade and clear a path for the ball. Voice chat for this may come in handy.
With the Big Bean ability, you’ll turn into a gigantic version of yourself. With this power, you become unstoppable! You’ll get to crush your opponents and practically wreck them on sight. This ability is more useful when either defending your teammate with the ball, or aggressively trying to make an opening to take it away. Either way, players with this ability are perfect for creating any openings you’d like.
Next is the Bounce Pad, which is a more relaxed ability. All it does is launch you across the field whenever your ability meter is filled. This can be great for making scoring plays with the ball or traversing the field quickly. However, it can be very hard to master since it does very little on its own. It’s better for players who like strategizing with their powers and making calculated plays with it.
Finally, there’s the Confetti Crash. This is another aggressive power up that launches a rocket towards other players to knock them over. This works great for creating a pathway for yourself when trying to steal the ball. You could also potentially use it for defensive plays similar to how you’d use the Big Bean ability.
🏆 Ranks
Even though the Crown Jam game is only available for a little while, there’s actually a very competitive ranking system. This system is very important to play if you dare to get all the exclusive rewards from the game. There’s eight in total ranging from Bronze to Unreal. Unreal Rank requires a ton of matches and winning streaks, so you’ll need to play really good consistently!
There are some tips to help you get through all the ranks if you wanna take on the challenge. For one, remember that you can tackle players mid-dunking the ball. A lot of beginners take a while to notice this, but it can change the course of a match if you time your tackles well enough. Also, get used to and familiarize yourself with when to use your abilities. You should also take breaks whenever you start getting stressed out, as that can easily tilt your matches into a losing streak.
🏀 The Crown Jam Rewards
There’s seven Crown Jam rewards you can get with some being a lot harder and rarer than others. When you first log into Fortnite, you’ll get the new Fall Guys costume called the Slam Dunk for free. After that though, you gotta work for it. The rarest reward is the prized Crown Ball Back Bling, which is earned by winning a match after reaching Unreal rank, the highest and most competitive rank to get.
